Umbrian Reds
This month we are offering two really special red wines from Umbria, the green heart of Italy; they are produced by Tudernum which was founded in 1958 when 54 winemakers joined together to form a cooperative. We love these wines and are frequent visitors to the winery which is very near our little falling-down house and the lovely hill town of Todi.
If you're looking for an unusual present, the Montelfalco Rosso and 'Belforte' Sangiovese are just the thing - you can't usually buy these wines in the UK so they really are exclusive!
Today, the winery is a well know local landmark and we particularly like the petrol pumps that dispense red or white wine by the litre.
